Question: Do I need to secure my wireless network?

A resounding yes! Like any wireless signal, Wi-Fi can be easily intercepted in the air. This can pose a serious security threat if you are not careful to lock your network down. Not only could attackers gain access to your important data files, they could also use your network to send out their own spam or other illegal Internet activity. Because they did this on your network you may be liable for these actions, especially if you have an unsecured network!
