According to a new study, nearly one-quarter of small businesses are “failing” in regard to the effectiveness of their IT security. The study, midyear results of a survey called the IT Effectiveness Index (ITEI), reported that almost one in four businesses surveyed received “D” or “F” letter grades when responding to questions about their own IT security. An additional 37 percent barely passed with “C” averages. What would your grade be?
