Virtualization: Implications for Small Business
Last month, we answered two imperative questions concerning virtualization: what is it, and why is it important? Today, we want to address a third question regarding the relatively new technology, that is, what are virtualization’s implications for small business?

- Potential upgrades/maintenance
So what does all this mean for your small business? For one, virtualization and other green technologies are saving organizations money, so it can likely do the same for yours. Consequently, two, virtualization is providing companies with the ability to expand their capabilities for less investment and less risk. And three, technologies like virtualization will be imperative for small businesses to embrace as online commerce continues to expand. Put simply, if you’re looking to keep your organization profitable in the years to come, it may be time to talk to your IT staffers about virtualization implementation.
